AppFinity "eTrade-Show" is an Add-on for the AppFinity E-commerce Systems family. It offers the flexibility to your sales people to place sales orders at a trade show or show room with or without Internet connectivity available. With the "eTrade-Show", your sales people do not have to use their desktop computers or laptops to place orders or access customer data. They can place orders or access their data right on the trade show floor using handheld devices thru Wi-Fi wireless connection.

If you exhibit at trade shows where Internet connectivity is not available or too expensive to subscribe, the "eTrade-Show" Add-on is the perfect solution. The system enables your sales professionals to access your essential database that has been extracted to a laptop. This database serves as a temporary server to view items and existing customers, place orders and maintain new customer information during the trade show.

Detailed information about the inventory item is also available such as: on-hand and available quantities, price and item description from the time the essential database has been extracted from the in-house SAP Business One system.

Sales order and new customer information entered on the trade show floor will be uploaded to the AppFinity web server when Internet connection is established. All orders information, including customer's account information can be uploaded to your in-house accounting system via the AppFinity web server.

Handheld devices with barcode scanner and Wi-Fi capabilities can be utilized by using the AppFinity Pocket PC/PDA client program. Salespersons can scan item barcode and enter order quantity; an order can be completed within a minute. It is fast, accurate and convenient to place orders using a Pocket PC/PDA.

The orders will be saved to a laptop temporarily and then later uploaded to the AppFinity WebStore when the Internet connectivity is established. After the orders are uploaded to the web server, the company's administrator can approve each trade show order making it a sales order in Business One without having to re-enter it.
